"The Catch" Season 2 is in the middle of filming its next 13 episode run. The ABC series about a sought-after private investigator in L.A. is tentatively scheduled to return to TV on March 2017 for the network's midseason slate.
Former "Suits" actress Gina Torres will be introduced in "The Catch" Season 2. However, the show has been quite secretive about her character but a behind-the-scenes photo was released featuring the actress. Posted on Twitter, Gina Torres was seen looking out of a posh living room window in an all-black wardrobe in one scene for the show.
Whether her character is a new addition to the firm of Alice Vaughn (Mireille Enos), a client, a competition, or has connections to Ben Jones (Peter Krause) is still unknown, but her presence does elicit curiosity from fans. Gina Torres' casting was announced in September, a few weeks before "The Catch" Season 2 started filming.
"I will be adding a little chaos, adding a little mayhem, and keeping the leads on their toes," the actress teased of her participation in the show, per Entertainment Weekly. This is her next gig since announcing that she was leavings "Suits" on USA Network.
Meanwhile, the show's first episode for Season 2 was already presented last October during the MIPCOM Festival in France, according to the press release. Yet there has been no review nor feedback so far. The event also honored Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the series.
Aside from Enos, Krause and Torres, the show also stars Sonya Walger, Rose Rollins, John Simm, Elvy Yost and Jay Hayden. Former "Grey's Anatomy" actor T.R. Knight will also be in "The Catch" Season 2 in a still undisclosed role. Keep your eyes peeled about the show on this site for more updates.
