Football Trade Rumors: Chelsea About To Loss Two Players In Contract Standoff: Victor Moses To Barcelona; Thibaut Courtois To Real Madrid?

As the football league season is in full swing and the mid-season trade is around the corner, Chelsea is facing hard times as two of their players seem to be looking for greener pastures. Wing-back Victor Moses has been a target for Barcelona, while goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois wants to return to Spain and might sign off with the giant Real Madrid.

Barcelona interested in wing-back Victor Moses?

According to Metro UK, after finding out that Barcelona is interested in wing-back Victor Moses and the Nigeria international's contract ends in the summer of 2019, Chelsea are set to open talks of contract renewal with Moses. Losing the wing-back Victor Moses could very well spell disaster for Chelsea as the team doesn't have too many options for the the wingback position.

The Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses flourished as the new wing-back being part of the successful 3-4-3 formation. He also netted the winner in Saturday's 2-1 London derby victory over Tottenham.

Thibaut Courtois to let contract expire so he can go home to Spain and might join Real Madrid?

Chelsea's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois hit the headline transfer rumors as he might set to run down his contract at Stamford Bridge so he could return to Spain, this time with Real Madrid. With only 2 and ½ years left in his contract, the goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has always been open to his desires on returning to Spain where he still has a house, as per report.

Meanwhile, the giant Real Madrid is looking for Keylor Navas successor, and this might just be Chelsea's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Chelsea's stand in the contract standoff with their two players?

Clearly, both Barcelona and Real Madrid are strengthening their reserves by trying to acquire wing-back Victor Moses and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. However, with the imposed transfer ban on Real Madrid until 2018, it is unlikely that a transfer will happen anytime soon, whereas Barcelona's plans to sign off Victor Moses might be close to a possibility. In fact, Barcelona still needs a replacement for Dani Alves, since his departure, per ESPN.

But these are pure speculations and rumors and Chelsea has not released any official statements as regards the contract standoff with giants like Barcelona and Real Madrid.
