'Arrow' News & Update: Roy Harper & Tommy Merlyn Return In Episode 100; Laurel Lance Is Back From The Dead!

While in captivity under the Dominators "Arrow" heroes try to get out from being lost in a state, of the dream. Oliver, Sara, Diggle, Ray, and Thea found themselves in a make-believe reality. Ollie resisted from getting engulfed from the false scenario to be able to help in taking down the real problem.

The 100th episode of "Arrow" is just like a tribute to their five years airing on TV. Previous casts return to take a bow along with current characters. Why not? "Invasion!" has been receiving good reviews since the pilot episode. Bringing back fan favorites in the likes of Moira Queen and Deathstroke feels like new thrills than nostalgia.

Laurel Lance (Black Canary) who died a tragic death in the hands of Damien Darhk, managed to grace the show once more. She did not come back to life but reappears in a flashback from a Season 5 take where Oliver Queen was about to tie the knots with her as simulated in a matrix-like process.

That is so vital and a heart-wrenching scene that should not be missed in the 100 episodes celebration. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg clarifies that it won't feel complete without Laurel's reappearance in such a dramatic fashion. That's one of the reasons why the show excels; he said, says Cinema Blend.

CB, producer Marc Guggenheim believes that the short but important roles of Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) and Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell) need to be revived to effectively narrate Queen's life. Guggenheim need not be disappointed. Despite not being able to pull their come-back off, they managed to reappear as holograms, as published by Movie Pilot.

Guggenheim is grateful that no one has disagreed with the old casts' reappearance in Arrow". In fact, they are all excited about it. The rewind indeed made a substantial influence on how it evolves now. As "Arrow" now back on track, it continues to air every Wednesday at 8pm, according to Screen Rant.
