‘Resident Evil’ 7: Biohazard Rumors & Updates: Game Similar To ‘Resident Evil’ 1

"Resident Evil' was considered one of Capcom's most popular franchises. However, over the years, the popularity of the game has diminished multi-fold. However, there is high anticipation for the release of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." The game has received a lot of early praise. This is the chance to restore the legacy of the game.

"Resident Evil" was considered the leader of survival horror games. It brought survival horror to mainstream audiences. This game was the base up on which most modern day survival horror games are made. Element from "Resident Evil" are used by most games even now. According to reports, Masochika Kawata, the game's producer, said that "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will provide a whole new experience like the first game of the series did.

"Resident Evil 1, not the remake... because it was the first time that they were making something, so we're capturing that same feeling. For example, when you remake something, the main goal is to refine it, to build on what's there. For RE1, it's about making something new," he said, reported GameSpot.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will be very different from previous entries and will be a novel experience which will deviate from the action focused entries of the past games. "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will be mainly based on escape, immersion, survival and pursuit. In the new title, there will be no investigations, no rescue operations and terrorist attacks like what we have seen before. The primary focus of the gamer will be to escape and survive. The upcoming title of "Resident Evil" will also be the first game to be played completely in the first-person perspective. Also, the Playstation 4 version can be played in full using the Playstation VR, reported VG247.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will also feature a new cast of characters who has connections to the other characters of the series. It is reported that the old elements of the game like medical herbs, resource management and puzzle solving will make a comeback.
