The highly anticipated "Resident Evil 7," which will be launched in January 2017, has been listed in one of a major game retailer's website. This caused some minor confusion since a major component of the collector's edition seems to be missing in the description.
A recent article from Attack of the Fanboy reported that one of a major game distributor has listed on their website the upcoming "Resident Evil 7." According to the article, GameStop Italy listed the Collector's Edition of "Resident Evil" on their website. The listing consists of an Art Book for the 20th Anniversary of "Resident Evil," five Lithographs with envelope edition Limited and Numbered, three Covers Alternative Exclusive, one DLC Exclusive (PS4 /Xbox One/PC), one USB Stick 16GB "3D Finger" and a Model Casa Principal "Resident Evil" (25 x 23.7 x 17,1cm) with a starting price of €99.98 without the actual game. With the game included, it will cost the customer €160.99 for Xbox One and PS4 and €150.96 for the PC.
"Resident Evil 7" is Capcom's latest contribution to gaming's horror genre. The game is set in a mansion in Dudley, Louisiana four years after the events of "Resident Evil 6." The new main character who goes by Ethan explores a mansion within a plantation in search for the love of his life. That's where he met the Baker Family.
"Resident Evil 7" disconnects itself from its predecessors. What used to be a third person game is now presented in the first person. The current technology enabled the developers to make use of a new innovation called "Photogrammetry" and actual meat giving the game a more realistic feel. The upcoming horror game is also designed to support the PlayStation VR console. Going back to the GameStop's listing, the Blu-Ray that contains the game itself is the most important item in a collector's edition, the other items are just added bonus.
