"Better Call Saul" Season 3 is in the middle of filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the cast and crew had a VIP visitor at one point. Bryan Cranston reportedly dropped by the set, fueling speculations that he could be reprising his iconic role for a special cameo.
But as show creator Vince Gilligan remains mum on a potential Walter White appearance, he expressed that he would like Bryan Cranston to direct an episode of "Better Call Saul." Speaking with Digital Trends, the showrunner revealed details to that special visit.
"It was the first time Bryan had been in Albuquerque in 3 1/2 years since 'Breaking Bad' ended," Gilligan revealed. The actor was apparently in town for a press tour of his book and decided to visit his old friends, who welcomed him with open arms.
Gilligan revealed that they are working out Bryan Cranston's schedule so that he can direct an episode of "Better Call Saul," the spinoff to "Breaking Bad" that starred the actor. Gilligan said that he knows the actor would love to work behind the camera, if only he didn't have so much to do. "Bryan Cranston is the hardest working man in show business," Gilligan said.
Meanwhile, AMC has released four new photos from the set of "Better Call Saul" Season 3. It features Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) and Chuck McGill (Michael McKean) with the show's lead character Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk). None of the photos, however, show any hint that Jimmy McGill has finally transformed into Saul Goodman, his "Breaking Bad" character.
"Better Call Saul" Season 3's return date has not yet been announced by the cable network. Previous seasons, however, premiered during February and it's likely that the upcoming one will also fall under the same schedule. Stay tuned to this site for the updates!
