Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green Separate: Career Issues Cause Split After 11 Years & 2 Kids

They have been together for almost 11 years and married for five years, but Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have announced that they are separating.

"Megan and Brian have decided to separate," a source told People Magazine. "They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they've decided it's best to take some time apart."

Allegedly, Megan, 29, and Brian, 42, separated for a while now and were last seen together in June, according to Daily Mail. The actress was reportedly seen not wearing her wedding ring.

Sources disclosed that the relationship was rocked by problems about Megan's film projects. The actress was very busy over the summer as she was filming the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie.

"They fight about her career," a source told Daily Mail. "She was obsessed with getting roles."

Another report from People Magazine noted that it was not the first time the couple separated. Back when they were engaged in 2006, the couple broke up in 2009. They reunited again after a year and tied the knot in 2010.

The couple had two children, Noah Shannon, 2 1/2, and Bodhi Ransom, 18 months.

Megan and Brian met in 2004 on the set of the TV show, "Hope & Faith." "Brian accidentally touched my leg. I remember literal electricity shooting through me and out me from every direction. It was like magic," the actress said back in 2009 during an interview with The New York Times.

Brian, who was older than Megan by 12 years, was reportedly jealous of Megan's "Transformers" co-star, People stated.

There were also reports that since having babies, the couple no longer had any time to be intimate. Megan once divulged on Entertainment Tonight that they no longer had a sex life.

During a guest appearance on "The View," she repeated the same story about not having sex, as per a separate report from Entertainment Tonight. "My [2-year-old son Noah] sleeps in bed with us, so there's really no way," she said.

Although she did admit that her husband wanted another child, she said, "He doesn't have to do any of the work! He says he wants another one. I'm not against it. I'm not opposed to it."

However, in an interview with Men's Health last year, Megan called her husband her soul mate.

"He's definitely meant to be the father of my children. That makes it easier for me to work through things, because I always see the spiritual side of things. I look at the end game," the actress said.
