Spoilers for "Legends of Tomorrow" season two continue to abound following the phenomenal hit episode 7 last week, which earned the highest rating in the history of the show. The upcoming episode 8 will feature the debut of the Legion of Doom and the return of Captain Cold (played by Wentworth Miller). Also, "Arrow" executive producer Marc Guggenheim reveals that "Legends of Tomorrow" will feature a "Camelot 3000" plot in episode 12.
Marc Guggenheim recently displayed on his Twitter account a snap shot of the front page of the script for episode 12 of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2. The tweet reveals that episode 12 is titled "Camelot/3000" and filming has commenced on Dec. 1
Episode 12 seems to suggest that "Legends of Tomorrow" will feature a plot about the 1982 "Camelot 3000" comic book which showcased legendary characters from the Arthurian legend who were reincarnated in the year 3000 to embark on an alien invasion. This comic arc "Camelot 3000" featured characters such as Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin and Lancelot as the Knights of the Roundtable.
From this revelation from Marc Guggenheim, a theory has surfaced saying Malcolm Merlyn will mostly likely be introduced as one of the members of Legion of Doom. This episode on "Camelot 3000" appears to be the best avenue to debut Malcolm Merlyn as the arc relates to King Arthur's Merlin, Cinema Blend noted.
Speaking of Legion of Doom, the upcoming episode 8 of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will now highlight the debut of the Legion of Doom. Fans of the series will now have to bid goodbye to the Dominators as the upcoming episode will now feature a new set of villains.
The official trailer for "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 episode 8 titled "The Chicago Way" reveals the Legends will now have to battle with the Legion of Doom. Also, the promo video confirms the return of Captain Cold in the hit series.
