"23 Jump Street" star Channing Tatum and his two-year-old daughter, Everly, crashed a kid's party last August 15 at The COOP in L.A.'s Studio City, according to Us Weekly. Not to worry, though. No arrests were made and no complaints were filed. In fact, they were asked to stay by the host.
The father and daughter pair did not realize that The COOP, a play space in Los Angeles, was closed for a special event when they walked in. "When the birthday girl's mom saw them, she asked them to stay!" a witness said told the news outlet.
The daughter and father ended up having fun at the party for two hours and Channing reportedly talked with the moms. "They freaked out," the source said.
As a gesture for letting them stay at the party, Channing made a quick stop at a gift shop before they left so that he could give the birthday girl a present. "He gave the girl a ring and flamingo sunglasses!"
The actor sprang another surprise when he showed a picture of a horse he rescued. On his Instagram account, Channing shared a photo of Smoke with the "Magic Mike" star seemingly giving him a bottle of beer. He did say, however, that the horse is just curious about the smell.
This wasn't the first animal that the actor rescued. Back in 2008, Channing also took in a pit bull named Lulu. The dog sometimes makes an appearance on the actor's social media feeds, according to Page Six.
Meanwhile, Channing teased his followers on Instagram when he posted a photo that was apparently taken from the "Jump Street" movie.
According to Cosmopolitan, the photo could've been a teaser for "23 Jump Street" as Channing's look was part of the last film's end credits, where it was revealed that there would be a sequel for the movie. In the new "Jump Street" movie, Channing and Jonah Hill will pretend to be exchange students. However, while the movie's third release had already been confirmed by the studio, according to Deadline, no plot details had been divulged yet.
"23 Jump Street" will be written by Rodney Rothman, who also made the script for "22 Jump Street." While its lead stars are also set to return, it's not yet determined if directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will be back. Channing is also producing the movie.
