The horror series, "The Exorcist" which is the adaptation of the 1973 film of the same title will soon air its Season 1 finale on Dec. 2016. This Fox TV series that stars Geena Davis (Angela Rance), Alfonso Herrera (Father Tomas Ortega), Ben Daniels (Father Marcus Keane), and Hannah Kasulka (Casey Rance) will soon wrap up its first season with an episode entitled "Three Rooms" to air on Dec 16.
As posted in Spoiler TV, the show's creators promise an explosive finale that has the demon destroying almost all of the members of the Rance family. If true, this gruesome ending is set to break the hearts of the show's growing fan base. The only hope that can save the Rance family lies in Marcus and Tomas.
Yet the possibility of the Rance family being saved is looking grim since the enemies of the church are planning a movement against Pope Sebastian. The Dec. 16 episode is actually the second part of the finale which started in its 9th episode entitled, "162."
An article in Movie Fone informs that the creator, Jeremy Slater said that "The Exorcist" finale will be the craziest ever. The gruesome synopsis that hints of a shocking ending claims that the finale is the ultimate result of everything that happened forty years ago.
The Exorcist" has fared well among critics yet the show's rating has not been very impressive so far and this is probably why the fans are yet to hear news about a Season 2 happening. Yet the show has attracted a loyal group of viewers that Fox may consider to announce a Season 2 soon.
