‘Android 7.0 Nougat OS' News & Update: Motorola G4’s In India Are Already Getting The Update?

The much awaited Android Nougat update is rumored to be secretly seeding Motorola G4's and Lenovo smartphones in India. The much awaited android update could be going live anytime soon.

According to International Business Times (IBT), "if the Android Nougat OS update rollout has indeed begun, then the firmware should be available over the next few days for your smartphones as automatic OTA notifications take significant time to completely roll out to all the intended handsets." Reports are coming in that the upcoming Android Nougat has already started updating Motorola G4's in India with a firmware build number" NPJ25-93.11." The owners of Motorola G4's are advised to manually check their device for software updates, this can be done by going to settings, then about phone, then system update.

Some of the features of the new OS includes multi-window view, Google Daydream VR platform, enhanced Google doze, direct reply to received notifications, new custom data Saver, split-screen mode, picture-in-picture mode, Unicode 72 emojis, new customized work mode, and support comparatively more languages. The new generation of smartphones will also be compatible with the with the Google Daydream device after getting the update.

Android Nougat officially adds support for the Vulcan API which promises faster, smoother and better-rendered gaming graphics. Nougat will also support Java 8 and open JDK. Doze Mode was also improved to work not only when the device is stationary for a while but also when it's in motion, meaning the will automatically go into hibernation mode when driving or walking. Quick app switching allows the user to perform a triple task in multi-window mode, according to Android Authority.

Android Nougat is one of the tiniest and perhaps the most powerful of all the Android versions. Android Nougat has put simplicity and minimalism under one Operating System. The Android 7.0 Nougat will not only save power but males the device faster as well.
