Telltale finally released the official trailer for the newest addition to "The Walking Dead" game franchise. Aptly titled "The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier," this third season is a two-part episode premiere that will be fully available on Dec. 20.
"The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier" was released with a two-part episode, "Ties that Bind Part 1" and Ties That Bind Part 2." Both will let players experience the intense and thrilling events that lead to the first meeting of Clementine (who is now a teenager) and the newcomer Javier, per GameSpot. Also, other established characters of the game like Jesus make their appearance in the trailer.
PlayStation Lifestyle reported that both episodes of "The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier" will be available for all platforms, PS4, Xbox One, PC< and even iOS/Android devices beginning Dec. 20, Tuesday. Meanwhile, PS3 and Xbox 360 players will have to wait as release dates have not been revealed for these platforms.
Also, in February 2017, the Season Pass Disc for PS4 and Xbox One can be purchased. The disc is inclusive of Episode 1 and will give the player access to the remaining episodes of "The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier" when they become available, per MMO Examiner.
According to TellTale: "'The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier' will act as both a new beginning for players fresh to the series and unfamiliar with Clementine, as well as a continuation for players who have experienced Seasons One and Two. Players new to the series will be able to start a story that is tailored to this new beginning. Players continuing onward from prior seasons will have multiple options for quickly configuring their tailored backstory, or importing the past save files from various platforms. Additional information on this feature will be detailed in the coming week."
"The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier" can be pre-ordered digitally on PS4. Players will get a copy of "The Walking Dead: Season Two" and "The Walking Dead: Michonne."
