Ubisoft's latest entry to the tactical shooter game series, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands," reportedly has the largest open worlds ever created by the game developer. The game is supposedly set in Bolivia. So, relatively, players will get the idea of how large the game world will be.
According to Polygon, the South American map for "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will be divided into 21 regions, each having a civilian population. Not only will each region have its own major towns and hamlets, but also an industry and a way of life will be part of the latest open world.
Also, 11 different biomes with unique ecological areas with their own climate, plants, animals, and topography can be found in the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands." In fact, Benoit Martinez, "Ghot Recon" lead artist and technical art director said in an interview: "We have a full agenda for the NPCs, so they really live in the world. They go to bed at night. They get up. They go to work. Whether or not you interact with them or not, they live their own life." GameRant reported that "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" storyline centers on the Ghosts' attempt at reigning over some of Bolivia's major drug cartels. Also, a few of the Ghost's lieutenants are spread out in various locations. This is done so that players are forced to traverse and explore as much of the map as possible.
"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" can be played with up to four-player co-op or solo, as other players like it. The South American open-world game is combined with open-ended gameplay. This means that players have the complete freedom to explore where they want and complete missions how and when they want, per SlashGear.
In other news, Ubisoft is now accepting applications for a best testing of the open-world adventure for the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands." However, Ubisoft has not released any information regarding what they are looking for in its beta testers and whether multiplayer modes will be available during testing.
"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will be released on March 7, 2017, on various platforms including Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Stay tuned for more news and updates about your favorite games!
