The seventh month of the year brought with it something that made the people go into absolute outrage, that something was the controversial pictures of an Australian teenager, Dylan Voller, in leg irons and chains.
The people required a high employment for the adolescence imprisonment in the North part of the territory. Voller had shared the attitude of the forces or faculties. The nineteen-year-old told the commission that the hostages were bashed and brutalized on a daily basis.
According to The BBC News, Voller further revealed that they would not even allow him to use the toilet for almost four to five hours. In the year fourteen and fifteen, the Royal Commission supported the extensive criticism of this act of the staff present at the Detention centers for the youth.
There had been some damnation in the previous year as well. It was reported the past year that the youngsters were mistreated to the point that they were kept starved for hours at times, the excellent people there also prohibiting them from seeing the daylight.
A spit hood is a utensil made for the prevention of the spits and bites of the individual who wears it. The snaps that went viral were utterly disturbing as one of them revealed Voller wearing the spit hood and being seated in a control chair.
He described that he was feeling so nervous and also light-headed as the policeman with the camera was sitting straight away from him at some distance. According to Reddit, he tells that while the man was shooting he'd act soft and when he'd pause the shoot, he'd again say something that would make him
ruffled.
Voller also stated that he got so stressed that at some point he started feeling nauseous and he even urinated in his pants. The fright of the guards had taken over his mind as he knew they could do anything and he would be powerless to defend himself.
Voller shed light on a very disturbing ongoing which was that the guards didn't give them any food or water the whole day at times. There were times when all the others were provided with water but not him, and the guard splashed it on the ground in front of him, just to show their superiority and sadism.
One of the guards, however, felt a tiny bit of compassion for him and opposed the concept of starvation. The guard also gave him some sources of nourishment.
