As of the latest update in regards to the couple's settlement, it was mentioned that Depp still owes Heard a whooping $6.8 million. The divorce money may be a huge amount, but Heard mentioned that the funds would be donated to her charity.

Daily Mail released an exclusive report where it was cited that Johnny Depp refused to pay the remaining amount after Heard penned an open letter regarding domestic violence, which sparked outrage as Depp was slammed by thousands.

In a document attained by Daily Mail, it was mentioned that Johnny Depp still owes $6.7 million, which is part of what they agreed on. Johnny Depp then broke his silence stating that he refuses to pay the remaining amount mainly because Heard spoke about domestic violence, which is against the terms of their divorce.

"You are not alone, You may have suffered alone behind closed doors, but you are not alone," Heard wrote in her open letter. "You need to know that. I want to remind you of your strength, a strength that has been multiplied by the number of women who stand silently behind you - a truth that allowed me to break down the doors I once found myself behind. I never felt anyone would or could rescue me, so naturally, I resented the label of victim."
