Recent rumors claim that 20th TV is brewing a spin-off to be called, "How I Met Your Father" and the writers will be Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, the same people behind the "This Is Us" drama.

According to Deadline, the plot of "How I Met Your Father" will be different because this time, the story will be tackled from a woman's point of view. Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger of "This Is Us" will be the writers of the "HIMYM" spinoff.
