Government's information demonstrates 74,630 households, almost 80% were children. They were being accommodated temporarily until the end of September.
Charities stated the number have continued to increase and designed an extremely desperate picture to give an idea of the condition that these homeless people have to go through. The government suggested it was dedicated to supporting societies most susceptible.
This the reason due to which Department for Communities and Local Government was investing over £550m to undertake and decrease the situation of homeless. According to Gavin Smart, Deputy Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Housing, the most worrying thing was that the situation of homeless was increasing at a worrying rate and the worst part of all was that it was predictable.
According to WB News, there has been a 9% increase in an amount of households living in impermanent housing in one-quarter, and it was totally predictable another worrying fact is that it shows no sign of going back and the situation cannot be tackled until the whole nation decides to join heads along with the government.
According to figures, 21,400 households, another party of those in temporary accommodations had been shifted away from where they became homeless to a different committee area. The chief executive of housing charity Shelter Mr. Campbell Robb stated that the figures show us a very depressing picture of the homeless people and the unpleasant situation that thousands of families have to go through not only the suffering of homelessness but the thought of moving away from their relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Investigations by Shelter organizations discovered that the majority move to a neighboring local authority. Three-quarters of transfers are to a neighboring local authority. According to BBC News, this means that one person out of four has to travel a great amount of distance away from their neighborhood, a significant traveling distance of local services, families, support networks and children's schools.
The statistics also show expulsion from the private rented division were the major reason for homelessness, with almost 18,820 households forced homeless after an eviction last year. According to figures, there was 12% increase as compared to previous year.
