Undead Labs ‘State of Decay 2’ To Be Fully Unveiled During The E3 2017

"State of Decay 2" was first announced during the E3 2016. But fans will have to wait even more as the four-player survival co-op game will fully roll during the E3 2017.

Game developer, Undead Labs, recently announced that the sequel to the zombie apocalypse survival game, "State of Decay 2," will be unveiled during the E3 2017. This is inclusive of the game's release date and platform availability.

According to Windows Central, Microsoft Studio and Undead Labs are teaming up to deliver the four-player co-op survival game along with a number of improvements. Founder Jeff Strain posted an update of "State of Decay 2" on Undead Labs official blog: "So pace yourselves, mark your calendars, and get ready to party with us this June."

Meanwhile, GameSpot reported that "State of Decay 2" will be "substantially larger" than its predecessor. Plus, co-op players will be able to split up.

Further, the game is slated for a 2017 release, but again, every single detail will have wait until the E3 2017, which will kick off in June 13 in Los Angeles, California. One thing is for sure, the game will at least be released for PC and Xbox One. The Xbox Play Anywhere functionality allows gamers to own "State of Decay 2" for both earlier-mentioned platforms, which is the main talking point when the game made its appearance during the E3 2016, per GameRant.

What once was originally released for Xbox 360, "State of Decay" was then released for PC in 2013. And another version was launched for Xbox One in 2015 called "Year One Survival Edition."

"State of Decay 2," "Sea of Thieves," "Scalebound," "Crackdown 3," and Project Scorpio is said to take center stage when E3 2017 kicks off in June 13. For sure, Microsoft still has tricks stashed somewhere as the battle against Sony's PlayStation continues.
