Here Are The TV Series To Watch Out For In 2017! Drew Barrymore And Reese Witherspoon Back On The Small Screens!

2017 is almost here and the road ahead looks bright, especially on the realm of television. TV fanatics will be glad to know that the New Year holds many surprising TV shows to watch out for. Some of the TV series that are set to premiere and have the potential to get you hooked cast A-list celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon, and Neil Patrick Harris.

According to Time, Feb. 19, 2017, is the premiere date of the HBO TV series that will star Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, and Reese Witherspoon. This series, entitled 'Big Little Lies," is based on a bestselling novel which features a murderous plot involving mothers with seemingly perfect lives.

Meanwhile, 41-year old actress, Drew Barrymore is set to star in a Netflix original series, "Santa Clarita Diet." This comedy series features the life of married couple, Sheila (Barrymore) and Joel (Olyphant) whose lives will change after encountering a mysterious incident.

It is set to premiere on Feb. 3, 2017. The cast of "Santa Clarita Diet" also includes Timothy Olyphant, Liv Hewson, and Ricardo Chavira.

Neil Patrick Harris, on the other hand, is the new Count Olaf in the TV adaptation of "A Series of Unfortunate Events." It can be recalled that this role was first played by Jim Carrey in the movie version of the novel by Lemony Snicket. Netflix is bringing the Baudelaires children on the small screen starting Jan. 13, 2017.

A Forbes article also list upcoming shows in 2017 and it includes, "The Young Pope" to premiere on Jan. 15, "Riverdale," to launch on Jan. 26 and "24:Legacy" to start airing on Feb. 5.
