Brad Wheeler of Globe and Mail said that it is a supernatural winner bound to make some noise at the box office and worthy of a loud applause. The movie may also have its fair share of critics, but many would still agree that this is the best horror movie of the year.
One critic of the movie "The Conjuring 2," Felix Vasquez Jr. of Cinema Crazed even said that he is anxiously waiting for the third chapter of the saga. Heather Wixson of the Daily Dead described the movie as by far the best horror movie seen from James Wan yet.
