The resounding question now is when will be the “74th Golden Globe Awards?” Well, it’s just days away, and everyone’s excited.
Yes, days away as it’s set to hit the air on Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. First stop is the red carpet coverage and will then move to the awarding of film and TV acting in 25 different categories.
Specifically, there are 14 film categories and 11 categories for television. The updates of “74th Golden Globe Awards” will also be tweeted live from 6-8 p.m.
Who will be the host of the “74th Golden Globe Awards?” The answer is Jimmy Fallon. The Miss Golden Globe 2017 title will be shared by Sylvester Stallone’s three daughters, namely Scarlet (14), Sistine (18), and Sophia (20), People reports.
As for the categories and nominations, here are some of the names. For the best film picture in drama “Hacksaw Ridge,” “Hell or High Water,” “Lion,” “Manchester by the Sea,” and “Moonlight” are nominated.
“La La Land” is also nominated for the best picture for a comedy or musical, along with “Deadpool,” “20th Century women,” Florence Foster Jenkins,” and “Sing Street.”
“Game of Thrones” is also nominated for the best drama TV series. “The Crown,” “Stranger Things,” “This is Us,” and “Westworld” is also nominated in the said category.
Some predictions consider that “La La Land” will win. As for the best drama TV series, it’s difficult to predict considering that all nominated shows have their strengths.
However, many did not expect “Deadpool” to be part of the nominations as some viewers and critics considered “The Lobster” for the fifth slot, Vanity Fair reports.
