When will "The Catch" Season 2 begin its run? Viewers of the Shondaland heist series on ABC have been waiting for its return to the small screen since the previous season ended last May.
The cast and crew, led by Mireille Enos and Peter Krause, have been busy filming Season 2 since the fall and have only taken a short break for the holidays. The network hasn't made any announcements of its return date yet even as midseason airings will soon trickle on television after the holidays. The show also has been secretive about the role of its new cast addition, TR Knight.
According to Romper, chances are that "The Catch" Season 2 will be back in January. But the site gave no specific dates nor any other details about the return.
The Catch News on Twitter had a more definitive information, citing that Season 2 is set to premiere in mid-March. The timing seems about right as the first season also debuted in March 2016. Like Season 1, "The Catch" Season 2 will have only 10 episodes, but details as to what will likely happen have been kept under wraps.
In July, it was announced that former Grey's Anatomy star TR Knight will be in the show. The actor's role has only been described as a recurring character that "was created and written especially for him," according to TV Line.
TR Knight shared a photo on his Instagram a few months back about working on the set of "The Catch." The photo, however, did not gave away too much details to what the actor is really going to do in the show.
Meanwhile, it's not only TR Knight that will be introduced in "The Catch" Season 2. "Suits" star Gina Torres has joined the cast as well and a glimpse of her working on the set was shared online, as Parent Herald reported.
The secrecy around "The Catch" set could only increase viewers' anticipation for its return. ABC will likely confirm an air date when the regular season normalizes after the holidays. Stay tuned for more news!
