Doctor Strange's Involvement In 'Thor Ragnarok' Still Unconfirmed

The mid-credit scene of “Doctor Strange” was partly a confirmation of the Benedict Cumberbatch’s character in “Thor: Ragnarok.” However, there weren’t a statement of confirmation regarding the matter, until a statement from D23, a Disney fan club, revealed that Strange and Hulk would be in the film.

The statement goes that the film Thor will need The Hulk and Strange’s help in an “intergalactic, world-saving action.” This means that they will battle both new and familiar intergalactic enemies.

There’s a complex history when it comes to the character of Hulk and Doctor Strange in their original comics. However, it’s clear that the two heroes will surely play a big role in helping Thor (Chris Hemsworth) find his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Yahoo! reports.

The mid-credits can be between one of two scenes in “Thor: Ragnarok.” First, it can be a scene when Loki and Thor meet Doctor Strange in New York. A second possibility could be that Doctor Strange will help the brothers to find Odin and pinpoint his exact location.

However, these scenes are still just assumptions of the possible meeting of the three characters in “Thor: Ragnarok.” However, fans are still expecting to see more of Strange in the film as he supports Thor.

Nonetheless, considering that there’s still no final statement on his character, it’s best to expect a little support in the film. The regulars in the Thor film will also be in “Thor: Ragnarok.” These include Mark Ruffalo playing The Hulk, Cinema Blend reports.

The third film “Thor: Ragnarok” is just one of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe which means that there’s still a lot of things that can happen. The third Thor film is set to hit the theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
