TV series "Too Close To Home" did well in its first season so it is not a surprise for Too Close To Home Season 2 to premiere anytime in 2017. As the series premieres on Jan. 4, 2017, it is now to be viewed on Wednesdays instead of Mondays.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the "Too Close To Home" Season 2 hails from the prolific producer Tyler Perry was picked up by TLC back in March 2016. The series garnered a total of 4.2 million viewers for the premiere airings.
It is then but natural to follow this success by having a second season premiere immediately. With the second season to premiere on Jan. 4, 2017, it is said to still be scripted.
The audience was ready for a move into the scripted space according to TLC president and general manager Nancy Daniels. She continued on by saying that the series has whet their appetite to see more.
The series "Too Close To Home" promises more twists and turns and more heartbreak. This is following the format of Tyler Perry's notoriously dramatic writing.
The series centers on the life of a successful young woman working in Washington who must confront her past after an alleged love affair with the president. She then was forced to return to her trailer-park beginnings because of this sex scandal.
As added by IMDb, the series "Too Close To Home" Season 2 will star Danielle Savre as Anna and Kelly Sullivan as Bonnie. Both are joined by Brad Benedict as JB, Brock O'Hurn as Brody, Charles Justo as Victor, Brooke Anne Smith as Shelby and many more.
The series "Too Close To Home" may have had a good plot, however, it did not sit well with TV series critics. One critic expresses disappointment with how the lines were delivered. Apparently, the long pauses between words annoyed the critic.
The critic then continued on by saying that the characters are cartoon-like and stereotypical. Many may share the same views about the series, however, there are still a strong following for the series to eventually be renewed.
