More exciting things are being unveiled for the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok" movie. The synopsis has been released revealing the major plot and twist in the villain being featured in the upcoming Marvel Studios' superhero film. Fans will also get to see a fellow Avenger, the Incredible Hulk! In addition, reports have circulated how Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) will help out Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) in the upcoming film.
According to the synopsis posted by the Independent, the movie will feature an incarcerated Thor. Fans might see a struggling superhero because Thor will not have his iconic super hammer when he gets imprisoned on the other side of the universe.
Things will get worst as Thor will have to face two adversities to be freed from imprisonment. First, he needs to race against the clock to return to Asgard to save his homeworld. The ruthless Hela (played by two-time Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett) has devised Ragnarok, the destruction and plan to end the Asgardian civilization.
Aside from Hela, the second adversity reveals the identity of the other antagonist in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok." The synopsis reveals Thor needs to win a deadly gladiatorial battle to be able to get out of prison, which presents the major twist in the history of the Avengers. Apparently, Thor will be battling against his fellow Avenger and former ally, the Incredible Hulk!
With regard to the cast, the lead stars who will reprise their roles are Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins. Aside from Cate Blanchett, another new cast Benedict Cumberbatch will play the role of Doctor Strange.
Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston has reportedly dropped some hints on the role of Doctor Strange in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok." In an interview with MTV News, the actor teased that Doctor Strange might help out in unveiling the mystery of what happened to Odin. Fans will most likely see the Doctor helping Loki in locating Odin.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 3. The film is directed by Taika Waititi.
