The remake of "Final Fantasy 7" is expected to be released this year. However, the exact date when it will be released is still not known, but fans voted it as the second most wanted title of the year.
The developer of the game Square Enix remains to be tight-lipped. It does not make any statement with regard to the 2017 launch. However, it gave a hint that the remake of the series will be in March.
Yoshinori Kitase the producer of Square Enix said that the remake will be like "Final Fantasy 13." The remake will have different parts and each one will be a full-scale game. It is said that every installment will talk about a story in a different perspective. According to a report, the development team of "Final Fantasy 7" will take its inspiration from "Advent Children," a 2005 film which focuses on how a hero fights evil in order to save the devastated city from a mysterious disease.
According to Express, the style of the visual will be changed. There will be some changes and tweaks in the narrative. On the other hand, the combat will ditch the original turn-based battles and it will be more action-packed compared to the PS One release.
Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy 7" director Tetsuya Nomura said that they want to have a big info reveal. They don't want to release small bits of releases every now and then. According to Yibada, gaming fans will be informed personally by Nomura ad Square Enix with regard to the updates of the remake.
Since the game is said to be released in three different and separate parts, Square Enix could fit everything in and it could even add new areas and new features as deemed fit. For the meantime, a sequel to the series "Final Fantasy 15" is considered to be the best entry since the release of "Final Fantasy 7."
