Celebrity Parenting: Reese Witherspoon Admits Using 'Different Mothering Styles' With Her 3 Kids

Like regular parents, celebrity mom Reese Witherspoon has doubts when it comes to whether or not her parenting style will work for her kids. The 40-year-old actress' approach to parenting was brought to mind after she appeared with her look-a-like daughter Ava during the premiere night of her newest venture with HBO, the miniseries "Big Little Lies."

Witherspoon admitted that superstar moms like her also struggle with motherhood. The challenge is even greater considering her busy schedule and the glitz of Hollywood. On top of that, she has three kids to look out for.

"I think I'm sort of a blend of a lot of these different mothering styles," Witherspoon said, according to CBS8. "You have five different distinct parenting styles on this show, and we're all just trying to be the best parents we possibly can be," she added.

Witherspoon said she always questions her decisions and disciplining methods as a mother. Her fans got a glimpse of her relationship as a mom to her child when she brought her 17-year-old daughter to the premiere. Mother and daughter posed happily on the red carpet even as the people continued to be amazed with their almost identical look.

Witherspoon and Ava looked like they were sisters as they both had the same pulled back hair with tendrils all over their faces, as per USA Today. The two were dressed in long sleeves that came with floral designs, proof of the bond between mother and daughter. Even their pointed pumps almost looked the same except for the color.

This celebrity mom's newest HBO miniseries follows the story of an almost perfect world involving adorable children, husbands who are successful with their careers, beautiful and amazing homes and doting moms, according to HBO. Speaking of doting moms, Witherspoon was not playing a role but she sure showed her affection for her daughter even in public. Incidentally, Witherspoon, who stars is "Big Little Lies" with Nicole Kidman, is not only the featured star but both actresses are co-executive producers.
