Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are having trouble with the terrible twos phase. Their son, Silas Randall, is testing his parents' patience and has been giving them a hard time.
At the Oscars red carpet event, Timberlake and Biel admitted they are struggling with parenting a growing toddler. Silas is about to celebrate his second birthday in April but his dad thinks he's peaking as a little tyrant, as toddlers are, rather early.
"He does not want the diapers changed," Timberlake said, according to Entertainment Tonight. "He's hitting his terrible twos a little early, so we're hoping he'll get out of them a little early."
Biel, on the other hand, beamed when the subject of Silas came up. The mom, however, admitted there are days when their child is quite unlikeable. "It's one of those things where you're like, I love you, but I don't know if I like you," the celebrity mom said.
Silas' parents are looking forward to watching their baby grow and develop. Despite the challenges, Timberlake and Biel are delighted Silas is learning to talk and explore.
"Watching him jump around to 'Can't Stop the Feeling!' starting to learn words because of that song - it's the best thing in the world," Timberlake told People. For him, the challenges of being a dad for the first eight months of a baby's life have been the hardest so far and he nearly broke down from it, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The couple, who were married in 2012, are quite hands-on when it comes to Silas. Once in a while, however, they get help from their own moms, Lynn Harless and Kimberly Biel, whenever they are busy with work. Timberlake remains active in music and movies while Biel runs a Los Angeles restaurant and occasionally works on the set.
