Michelle Money's 5-year-old daughter, Brielle, has recovered from being comatose less than four weeks after the skateboarding accident she had.
The 39-year-old mother says in an Instagram post that 26 days after the accident, her daughter walks out of the hospital with a whole new outlook on life. She also says that Brielle's accomplishments after waking up from a coma are "absolutely mind-blowing."
Michelle Money Proud of Brielle's Accomplishments
The "Bachelor" said that as a mother, she was impressed watching her daughter push through the pain and frustration of learning how to do things a normal person does like walking, talking, drinking, eating, getting dressed, showering, brushing teeth, and many others.
The speech therapist handling Brielle said that it was the first time of her seeing a kid recover as fast as Bri in the six years of her service. Money knows that they still have a long way ahead of them, but she is incredibly grateful for Brielle's speedy recovery.
Michelle Money shared the news of her daughter in a medically-induced coma after Bri fractured her skull in a "terrible skateboarding accident" and suffered a "serious brain trauma" on her social media account.
Even though the mother and daughter have been through a lot, Money still was hopeful that her daughter would recover from the accident. She said that Bri was a fighter and a warrior because she knows that her daughter will still do amazing things in her life. She is very thankful from the bottom of her heart to the people who have been sending their love, support, and prayers.
When Money tried to explain what had happened to her daughter in the previous month, Brielle is slowly starting to realize everything. Despite her daughter not wanting to be remembered for the experience, Money thinks that the event has a significant purpose. She is forever grateful for this one of a kind experience that her daughter has encountered. She is looking forward to a new and beautiful beginning for her child.
Michelle Money's ex Ryan Money was Also Concerned
Money's ex, Ryan Money, also shared a series of photos of his wife Ashley and Bri's siblings outside the hospital holding up signs to support Bri's recovery on social media. He added a caption, saying that his daughter crushed their expectations because everything that they prepared for her is "blowing out of the water."
He added that ten days ago, his 15-year-old daughter did not move an inch, and they could not hear her speak, but now she is walking and talking, and it does not seem like only three weeks had passed since she recovered from her accident. Adding to that, he said that nobody was more excited about this than his daughter.
Ryan also said that even though the recovery would take months, Bri was already making significant improvements. The doctors reminded them to be extremely cautious. Bri should not be allowed to do sports, ride bikes, nor run for at least half to a whole year, and according to the father, that is nothing compared to the injury that she got.
Ryan and Michelle took turns in visiting Brielle because the social distancing has made the hospital to allow only one parent inside. When her parents started thinking of considering a different option, Bri's condition started stabilizing and has continued to improve since then.
Michelle Money is so proud of her daughter for miraculously recovering from comatose.
