Kara Bosworth’s Double Heartache: Stillborn Son and Death of Dad

Kara Keough Bosworth's dad Matt Keough dies a few weeks after she suffered heartache from stillborn son.

The 64-year-old dad of the reality star, Matt Keough, died on Saturday. A few weeks ago, Bosworth just had a tragic loss of her son by a stillbirth.

The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star posted a series of photos of her and her dad. She captioned it, asking her dad to take care of her son. She also asked her dad to teach her son the circle changeup and how to find "forever friends." Finally, she reminded her dad to do his grandpa's duty in heaven.

Matt Keough married Jeana Keough, former star of "Real Housewives of Orange County," the show where Kara now also stars. Matt and Jeana have three children, Kara, and her two brothers, Shane and Colton. The two got separated 15 years ago but only got divorced a year ago.

Jeana has also posted a throwback photo of her late husband on her social media account.

Oakland Athletics' team executive vice president of baseball operations, Billy Beane said that Matt Keough was a great baseball man and is a proud Oakland A.

He also said that they were lucky to have Keough with them because he had an incredible passion for the game. Adding to that, he said that Keough worked as a special assistant because of his wealth of knowledge that he bestowed upon his team members.

Beane also added that Keough had left an unforgettable impression on everyone that he touched on baseball. He concluded by sending his sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Keough.

Co-stars of Kara Keough Bosworth have commented on her post. Former RHOC star Tamra Judge said that she was sorry for the loss, and she sent her big hugs to comfort Bosworth. Fellow RHOC alum Vicki Gunvalson wrote that she is sorry and that there are no words she could express except sending her love.

On April 6, the star confirmed that her son McCoy Casey Bosworth to husband Kyle Bosworth died. She captioned her post, saying that they were surprised by the size and strength of her son, and it is almost perfect because he weighed 11 pounds and 4 ounces with a height of 21 inches.

Due to shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord, McCoy joined our Heavenly Father. Bosworth also said that her son would forever live in their hearts and those that received his life-saving gifts.

Kara Keough Bosworth donated her baby boy's organs because she wants that others find new hope and profound healing through their son McCoy. She also hopes that her son would live in those whom he has saved lives.

She also wants her son's legacy to shine in the form of lifetimes aplenty. She wants her son to leave an impact in this world, "that he was a hero."
