People who start their families are often filled with worries, excitement, and a mix of other emotions. We can hear men and women with families say that it is a fulfilling journey.

However, for Kier, father of a two-year-old girl and husband to an intellectual property lawyer, being in a family is also about good parenting. He explained all these in a two minute Instagram video, which is now a viral video with over 400,000 views.

The viral video

Kier's viral video was a little laid back. He was walking around with his daughter and was sharing all his thoughts spontaneously while carrying his daughter.

He began the viral video by sharing how he is happy that many young men have become expressive. He said, "I think that men that were a generation before us got raised but men that were a generation before them, and those men didn't really know warm love." He continued saying that the men generations before him did not know about "warm love" the way young men of today do.

Nonetheless, Kier reminded the young men that parenting is not natural. He said, "Because it exposes things about you, that you don't know about yourself."

Kier also believes that if parenting is done correctly, it becomes a huge emotional undertaking. He reminds his viewers that even though they see him and his family happy in vlogs, videos, and pictures, these are not all that it seems. He said, "It's because we put an immense amount of work to make this thing happen. Man, we do it every day."

Father's advice about starting a family

Kier believes that a person's past plays a vital role in starting a family. He said, "Go see somebody about your past, and go see somebody about the trauma that you've endured from your life, and start healing."

Kier says that if this is a part that people will skip, they will never experience genuine happiness.

Applaud from netizens

A lot of people online applauded Kier's thoughts about good parenting.

Some of them even shared how the viral video inspires them.
