Great news for Apple fans! According to some reports, Apple is planning to release the new 4K 21.5-inch Retina iMac next week, and the new iPad Pro early in November.
According to 9to5mac, unnamed reliable sources say that Apple is planning to release the new addition to the iMacs next week, as soon as Oct. 13. Finding the 21.5-inch iMac with 4K-resolution Retina displays will be hard at the start, but will be easier in time as quantities ramp up by November.
According to MacRumors, the new iMacs will have a resolution of 4096 x 2304. Rumors also indicate that although the new model will look the same way externally, it will have an improved display quality, with greater color saturation. And due to new Retina displays, it will cost higher than current iMac models.
It is also rumored to have powerful processors.
Although a group of filings (seen via Slashgear) reveal that Apple is working on a second-generation Magic Mouse and a new wireless keyboard (that comes equipped with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and a rechargeable battery), it is unclear as of now if they will be released with the new model.
It is also unlikely that the 27-inch iMac will receive an update when the new model is released.
On the other hand, the new larger-screened iPad Pro, introduced in September, is going to be released in November.
When it arrives, it's going to be the largest iPad yet, and will boast of a 12.9-inch 2732 x 2048 resolution display. It will be equipped with a powerful 64-bit A9X processor, come in a super-slim design, make music with a four-speaker audio system, and will be available in three colors (silver, gold, and space gray).
According to Digital Trends, the new iPad will come with 4GB of RAM, 32 or 128GB storage options, and run on the new iOS9 operating system.
It will sport two cameras: an 8-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera good for FaceTime.
The new iPad will be very portable too: It will have Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, HSPA+, and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity options; It is said to run up to 10 full hours on a full battery charge, and will weigh light at 1.54 lbs.
It's going to be pitted against Microsoft's new Surface Pro 4. It will be available in November, and will cost $800 for the 32GB model, and $950 for the 128GB model.
