'Super Smash Bros 4' Wii U, 3DS DLC Characters Confirmed, Cloud Strife Available Now, Bayonetta Coming in 2016 -- Details Here!

“Super Smash Bros” fans rejoice! Nintendo has announced that “Final Fantasy VII” protagonist Cloud Strife is already available. It has also announced the final character they intend to include in the brawler.

NDTV reported that the yellow-colored spiky-haired fan favorite can be purchased for either the Wii U or 3DS systems for $5.99 separately or for both at $6.99.

Those who will purchase Cloud will get two costumes and a stage based on the iconic “Final Fantasy VII” location Midgar. Gamers will also have the ability to customize their Miis, or in-game avatars, with “Final Fantasy” themed items such as a Chocobo hat and an outfit for Geno.

For those who don't know Geno, he's a character from “Super Mario RPG” -- a game that Square Enix developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System years ago.

In another reveal, game creator Masahiro Sakurai announced that Bayonetta, from the “Bayonetta” hack and slash game series, will also join the brawl.

The Verge reported that the superstar witch will be joining the game in February next year, as the final DLC character. A trailer accompanied her reveal, showing her skills and abilities, as well as what comes with her when she's available for download.

Bayonetta, from Platinum Games, will come with various costumes: one long-haired design from “Bayonetta,” the first installment; a short-haired version from “Bayonetta 2;” and another one based on Jeanne, another character in the series. She is also reported to come with a stage based on the Umbra Clock Tower, one of the cool environments in the game.

Kotaku reported that Bayonetta will be able to use all sorts of gun attacks -- from both her hands and feet -- and also an ability from her game called “Witch Time.” With this, she can slow down any opponent that she blocks and will get the opportunity to land some massive damage.

Her inclusion in the game didn't come as much of a surprise. Nintendo said that fans in Europe voted her to top positions in the polls, while in the U.S., she was only in fifth place. That, however, didn't stop Nintendo from including her in the game.

Like Cloud, Bayonetta will also be available for either the Wii U or 3DS systems for $5.99 separately or $6.99 for both. Nintendo said she will be available for download in February.

Aside from Bayonetta, Corrin from “Fire Emblem” is slated to arrive.
