"Sense8" Season 2 release date may be pushed back to a later date, as Christian Today noted that cinematographer John Toll revealed that filming may take place in March.
"We're talking about it. It's just sort of starting to fall into place with scheduling and everything," Toll said.
"They're talking about March," he added when asked about the show's production.
The publication further noted that "Sense8" Season 1 took at least seven months in production, which meant that Season 2 may take the same amount of time to film. If the show really does begin production in March, then fans are looking at a possible Oct. 2016 release.
The outlet reported, however, that October does not seem like a plausible release date for "Sense8" Season 2 because Netflix may already have several shows lined up to premiere on the said month. The publication then stated that the show may be released by the end of 2016 or by early 2017.
However, it looks like filming has already begun for "Sense8" Season 2, as Chicago Tribune reported that the sci-fi drama is already looking for extras to star in the upcoming season.
According to the outlet, Atmosphere Casting posted on its Facebook account that they are in need of "Sense8" extras. The post was deleted later on.
The aforementioned publication, however, stated that the show was slated to film in the Andersonville neighborhood on the Northern Side of Chicago.
Warning signs of parking restrictions were also shared on social media, but the Chicago Film Office refused the publication's requests for comment.
If filming for "Sense8" Season 2 has already begun, then the rumored August release date sounds like a more possible option than a 2017 release date.
