Former "Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev has long been rumored to be dating Austin Stowell since she parted ways with her ex-boyfriend and co-star, Ian Somerhalder. As it turns out, there's been some speculation on Dobrev's current relationship.
Rumors claim that the "Let's Be Cops" actress might be rekindling an old flame. With who? Well, Nina Dobrev was once dating choreographer and "Dancing With the Stars" alum Derek Hough, the brother of her best friend, Julianne Hough. The two first met on the set of "DWTS" back in 2013.

According to Us Weekly, Dobrev and Hough's romance only last a mere six weeks, with claims that the two had split up because geographical reasons: Hough was in Los Angeles for "DWTS," while Dobrev was filming "TVD" in Atlanta.
After her six week fling, Nina Dobrev was linked to Ian Somerhalder. Unfortunately, their relationship came to a close after only a few years. Somerhalder went to marry Nikki Reed in 2015.

But now, reports claim that after breaking up with Austin Stowell of "Dolphin Tales," Nina Dobrev has found herself in yet another relationship with Derek Hough.
Inquistr has noted that the news comes as a huge surprise, given that Nina said, back in August, that she wanted to enjoy her single life after breaking up with Ian Somerhalder.
"I've been a relationship girl, and I've been in long-term relationships my whole life until this point," Dobrev said, "So I think I'm looking forward to spending some time with myself and finding myself again."
Just recently, Nina has been spotted hanging out with Julianne Hough, which could probably provide an explanation as to how Derek and Nina were able to re-ignite the spark in their relationship.
