The GoPro Hero 5 has been one of the most anticipated devices slated to arrive this year. Unfortunately for consumers who want to get their hands on the newest GoPro Hero action camera, they might just have to wait a little longer.
Previous rumors first claimed that the device would be launched in October, before being pushed back to "sometimes in the early months of this year." According to Day Herald, the new GoPro Hero 5 release date is pegged for October 2016.
As it turns out, the delay was made to make the camera even better for its consumers. The publication reported, "The company has also declared that additional tweaks will be made to the device in order to make it stand out and at the same time, introduce better design as well as functionality."
According to latest reports, the GoPro Hero 5 features 8K video recording resolution ability at 30fps, as well as 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps - which is basically twice of the GoPro Hero 4 Black's 4K capabilities.
Some rumors have also been floating around regarding the camera's much smaller size - Value Walk reports that the GoPro is altering the camera's trademark size so that it could work with the company's upcoming Karma Drone.
At the CES 2016 event in Las Vegas, GoPro announced the arrival of the Karma Drone, which has sparked rumors that the GoPro Hero 5 and the Karma Drone might be "released together as a bundle," reports We Are Champion.
In fact, Christian Today reports that rumors claim that the Hero 5 is already for release - but it's being held back for the Karma Drone's final version for simultaneous release in the market.
