Piper Perabo has announced her engagement to Stephen Kay, according to Examiner.
The Cover Affairs star is allegedly starting to plan the wedding. Access Hollywood reported that Perabo and Kay plan to get married really soon but no final date has been confirmed yet. The couple met on the set of the American series. Kay is the director and co-executive producer of the show.
Sources close to Perabo and Kay confirmed that the two are very happy and are starting to plan the wedding. Kay has been romantically linked to Eva Longoria, one of the stars on the now debunked American series Desperate Housewives. Kay has also been linked to other actors in the past.
Perabo has been part of Covert Affairs since 2010 and the two met on set. The 36-year old actress is still associated with Coyote Ugly but the USA network show has earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Piper has alluded to their relationship in the past saying that it is not easy to handle while working in a stressful job.
"As a woman who has sort of high-powered job myself, I know how complicated a relationship can be even if it's with somebody you're working with," Piper said. Although Perabo has not yet publicly talked about her engagement, sources said the couple is thrilled to take their relationship to the next level.
Piper has also starred in other television series including Go On where she played the character of Simone; Law & Order: Criminal Intent where she played the role of Calista Haslum; Backdrop NYC where she played the character of Leslie.
Some of her movies include Beverly Hills Chihuahua, The Lazarus Project, Sordid Things, Looper, Ashes, Carriers, Because I Said So and a whole lot more.
