Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is reportedly rumored to be engaged to boyfriend Nico Jackson and the couple is set to officially announce the happy news later this week, according to the UK edition of Marie Claire.
Pippa Middleton and Nico, 35, have only been dating for around six months but the loved-up couple were said to have already become engaged with the financier going down on one knee while the couple holidayed together in the Caribbean in June.
The couple has only been dating for six months, an insider told The Sunday People that Middleton and her stockbroker boyfriend were delaying the engagement announcement because "they didn't want to take the shine off Kate [Middleton] and her baby.
Multiple reports are claiming that Pippa is set to walk down the aisle next spring and that the two are beyond ecstatic with their new relationship status.
Jackson's mother went on the record about the relationship earlier this year, telling the Daily Mail, "They are happy, and that is all that matters. As long as my children are happy, then I am happy." But neither of Nico's parents would confirm news of an engagement this weekend, nor have we heard a peep from Pippa.
As to whether or not Duchess Kate will be a bridesmaid for her sister, 'it remains to be seen,' says a source close to Pippa.
"Everyone knows how close the sisters are but at this stage the final arrangements are a long way off. Pippa's wedding will be a huge occasion but if Kate is bridesmaid it will be even more high-profile."
