"Person of Interest" Season 5 release date is still unknown, as CBS remains tightlipped about the show's premiere on TV. While CBS president Glenn Geller stated in an earlier interview that the upcoming season will premiere this spring, Crossmap noted that spring is only a week of two from now but the network still has not given an official release date for the show.
The publication further noted that "Person of Interest" Season 5 may be taken as its series finale, as the writers of the show recently posted a cryptic message on Twitter. The writers reportedly posted a picture of the group and captioned the photo, "#theend."
Fans became worried that their attempts to save "POI" Season 5 from cancellation are not going as well as they hoped it would. Aside from this cryptic message from the show's writers, International Business Times reported that the episode titles for the upcoming season have been leaked online.
According to the publication, the "Person of Interest" Season 5 episode titles were posted online. What was interesting in the released titles, however, was the finale episode entitled: "Return 0."
Many fans believed that the said episode title for "Person of Interest" Season 5 finale may be taken as another sign that the show will no longer be returning for another season.
Earlier interviews from the cast and crew of "POI" Season 5 also fueled speculations that the show is headed for the chopping block, but fans remain optimistic that another network would hear their plea.
