'Captain America: Civil War' Release Date, News & Update: Post Credit Scenes Might Have 3 - What Could These Be?

When you watch "Captain America: Civil War" in May, make sure to remain in your seat all the way to the end of the screen time. The movie's directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, said that they are putting more than one post credit scenes that could involve the rest of the Avengers crew. What could these mini-stories be?

Speaking with Forbes, the brothers hinted that fans should expect at least three end credits to "Captain America: Civil War." "We can't say who is going to be in it but we can say that there certainly could be one, or two, maybe three," said Joe Russo to the news outlet. "We can confirm that you should stay sat in your seats when the movie is done."

Running teasers post credit is something that has been done in these superhero films, but it will be the first time that three scenes will be delivered. Screen Rant speculates these shorts could be distributed in the beginning, middle and end of credits as it rolls out.

One possibility about which character will be featured in the teasers is "Doctor Strange" since it's going to be the next movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that's hitting theaters in November 2016. Going through the MCU timeline, it's also possible that the "Captain America: Civil War" post credit teasers will feature "Spider-Man" and "Black Panter."

The buzz around "Spider-Man" has picked up recently after the studios chose to remain quiet about the webbed one's cameo, and then decided to give fans a peek of the superhero in a short teaser. "We're at a place where we can present him even in just a small taste," said the Russo Brothers via Collider. "We thought it was a great way to reveal him. I think people are going to be happy with him in the movie, he's got a very interesting role in it."

As for "Black Panther," there is still little buzz around the movie, so Marvel might want to release more details about this in "Captain America: Civil War." Andy Serkis was tapped to play Ulysses Klaue in one of the first flashbacks shown during the end credits of "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Perhaps a new end credits will continue the storyline.
