In celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday this coming April, the Royal Family didn't hold back when it came to sharing adorable and sweet stories about the longest-reigning monarch in UK history. In fact, Kate Middleton and Prince William's son, Prince George, has his own special nickname for the Queen.
In a documentary called "Our Queen At Ninety" by ITV, Kate Middleton revealed that her eldest son, Prince George, calls Her Majesty as "Gan-Gan." Meanwhile, majority of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth's brood, including their great grandchildren, call her "Granny."
In spite of her busy schedule, it seems as though Queen Elizabeth intends to remain as a normal grandmother to the Royal Family. "She always leaves a little gift or something in the room," Kate Middleton explained via E! News. "The just shows, I think her love for her family."
"The Queen, she was really thrilled that is as a little girl," Kate shared while referencing her second child, Princess Charlotte. "And I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington, she was one of our first visitors here."
As it turns out, the queen has also been very helpful when it comes to planning especially when it comes to Royal events. "She's been very generous and not sort of being forceful at all in any of her views," Kate Middleton shared. "I feel she's been sort of a gentle guidance, really, for me."
According to Entertainment Tonight, the ITV Queen Elizabeth II special apparently marks Kate Middleton's first interview on television since her engagement to Prince William in 2010. "Our Queen At Ninety" airs on March 27 on ITV.
