"Pokemon Go" has been previously announced to undergo field tests and now they have begun. Along with these are linformation and footage leaks despite the best efforts of the mobile game handler, Niantec to keep it private for a while.
Those "Pokemon Go" players who revealed details and information about the beta test online have been banned by Niantec, Nintendo Inquirer reported. However, no one reportedly can stop anyone in the internet; hence, players have begun uploading footage and screencaps of the mobile game once again.
"Pokemon Go" trainer customization and in game menu can be seen in an uploaded video that includes other first moments of the game beta.
Nintendo Inquirer has also compiled a list of information revealed by players including their experiences during the game field tests and discoveries in the game's code. There's quite a lot of details exposed worth anticipating such as the changes in the "Pokemon" battles and capture mechanics.
The following are some of the biggest details acquired through the field tests as reported by Gematsu. Take note that these are all unofficial and some details may change in the final product.
- There seem to be no more battles against wild "Pokémon" that plaers are said to encounter. Instead, they can directly use their "Pokemon" balls to catch them.
- In the "Pokemon" game franchise, players choose a starter "Pokemon." However, beta players were not able to receive one.
- Players can join one of three teams, which are Blue, Red, or Yellow.
- Gen 1 "Pokemon" are the ones only seen in the beta. However, the list will likely expand in the final product.
- Each "Pokemon" differs in Nature, but the ones in beta are different from the main games. Natures found in the beta include Assassin, Stoic, Raider, Sentry, Guardian, Protector, and Champion.
- There are also different categories of "Pokemon," but features the same ones as Normal, Legendary, and Mythical.
"Pokemon Go" still has no set date for release.
