Cameron Diaz reportedly shared with Gwyneth Paltrow a secret on aging that the "Sex Tape" star recently discovered. Because of this secret, 'Sex Tape" actress Cameron Diaz reportedly told "Iron Man" actress Gwyneth Paltrow that she is excited about growing old.
According to People, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow had a Q&A chat for the Goop newsletter. Cameron Diaz was actually doing research for her latest work, "The Longevity Book," when she made the realization on aging.
Cameron Diaz pointed out to Gwyneth Paltrow that the fear of aging stems from a surface-level understanding of what happens to the body in the process. Taking the process with a scientific understanding helps dispel the fear. This apparently is true for Cameron Diaz, who only feels excitement over growing older.
"What I have to offer the people around me, the wisdom I have gained through experiences I have had, and looking forward to all of the years I have ahead of me," Cameron Diaz stated. Excitement, however, does not mean being reckless about the body, as Cameron Diaz qualifies in "The Longevity Book."
While she gives importance to the use sunscreen for skin protection, Cameron Diaz also pointed out that such factors as poor nutrition, physical inactivity, disconnection from loved ones, lack of sleep, stress and inflammation hastens aging needlessly. Essentially, Cameron Diaz espouses being smart about aging and encourages embracing aging. "Aging is living," Cameron Diaz advises.
Cameron Diaz is reportedly smart about more than a few things besides ageing. Hello magazine reports that Gwyneth Paltrow actually looks at Cameron Diaz not just as genuine friend, but also as her beauty mentor.
Cameron Diaz revealed that one of the things Gwyneth Paltrow picked up from her was how the "Iron Man" actress can blow-dry her hair even without a beauty team to help her. Gwyneth Paltrow also commended Cameron Diaz for teaching her how to do her make up.
