'Grimm' Season 5 Episode 18 Spoiler, News & Update: Should Reggie Lee Fans Worry? Are Adalind, Renard & Eve, Nick Hooking Up?

"Grimm" season 5 is fighting its corner to stay on-air for season 6. The series is now a welcome shade of uncomfortable putting viewers on tenterhooks to see if "Grimm" season 5 episode 18 will lead Sean Renard (played by Sasha Roiz) to come between Adalind Schade (played by Claire Coffee) and Nick Burkhardt (played by David Giuntoli).

Certainly seeing Adalind Schade in action as a Hexenbeist from "Grimm" season 5 episode 18 onward will make for good TV. However, what would be interesting would be to see is if the time Adalind Schade spent with Nick Burkhardt and the Scooby gang in the past "Grimm" season 5 episodes would play into a change of character.

A flag is raised when Bitsie Tulloch's Eve (Juliette 2.0) warned to kill Adalind Schade if she hurt Nick Burkhardt. "Grimm" fans had previously been alarmed over any possibility of Eve (Juliette 2.0) hooking up with Nick Burkhardt. Is the push toward Adalind Schade coming free of her hexenbeist suppressant and the return of Diana the clincher for Claire Coffee's character to hook up with Sean Renard?

Adalind Schade did express extreme reluctance from becoming a hexenbeist again. Viewers may recall Adalind Schade telling Rosalie (played by Bree Turner) that hexenbeists are addicted to power. Will Eve the automaton, then be redirected in "Grimm" season 5 to a third chance at love with Nick Burkhardt?

One other point of alarm in "Grimm" season 5 is the character development that Sgt Wu (played by Reggie Lee) has been going through. Given that Sgt Wu is morphing into a lycanthrope in "Grimm" season 5 after being scratched by a werewolf, his new powers may be a double-edged sword.

Given that werewolves were portrayed as uncontrollable creatures that should be put to death, are fans watching the beginning of the end for Sgt Wu in "Grimm" season 5? According to Carter Matt, "Grimm" season 5 episode 18 should prove quite interesting, with Sharon Leal as Zuri possibly rekindling the past with Russell Hornsby as Hank.

"Grimm" season 5 episode 18 will also see Sgt Wu being meted out bigger problems because of his condition. Hopefully "Grimm" season 5 episode 18 generates even more interest given the report by Deadline that the series is once again down in ratings.

NBC will air "Grimm" season 5 episode 18 on April 22, Friday. Reggie Lee, Russell Hornby, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, Silas Weir Mitchell, Claire Coffee, Bitsie Tulloch and David Giuntoli star in "Grimm" season 5 episode 18.
