Being a father to two adorable kids has trained Prince William how to make them stop when they are crying. The dad of 2-year-old Prince George and 1-year-old Princess Charlotte seems to be getting the technique when it comes to toddlers.
US Magazine said that Prince William revealed that his secret to calming his two children is running water. The Duke of Cambridge said he uses the technique more on Prince George since his daughter is not really a crier.
Mental health charity launch
During Monday's launch of the royal family's charity for mental health called Heads Together, the 33-year-old also revealed that he discovered the trick when George stopped crying when he heard the sound of running water. Prince William claimed that this has since been the sound of comfort for the little boy, added OK!
According to ABC News, Prince William was joined by wife Kate Middleton and brother Prince Harry during the mental health charity launch. The Duchess of Cambridge also noted that she and her husband will not think twice of asking for mental help for their kids if they deem it necessary.
"Like most parents today, William and I would not hesitate to seek help for our children if they needed it," Middleton explained. "We hope to encourage George and Charlotte to speak about their feelings."
Hands-on parents
It was added in the US Magazine report that Prince William and Middleton have been hands-on parents to their children. The Duke of Cambridge even earlier shared that fatherhood changed him a lot as a person.
He mentioned that he used to be "weirdly" before but now has evolved as an emotional person. Prince William added that he did not worry about things in the past but now gets concerned with even the smallest things in his environment.
