Fans of "Legend of Zelda" will have something else to look forward to aside from the E3 event in Los Angeles in June, where Nintendo plans to unveil it on the Wii U. Its store in New York will be giving 500 lucky fans a chance to play the game ahead of the rest and here are the details on how you can participate.
On June 11, Nintendo is launching its "Super-Fan Signup Day," per Gamespot. Gamers will have to line up at the New York Nintendo store beginning 9 a.m. and then the first 500 people will receive a wristband. They can also set an appointment for "Legend of Zelda."
Anyone interested will need to present an ID with photo to be eligible, but minors will have to sign up with a parent or guardian. Then from June 14 to 19, those with wristbands can exchange this for a ticket at the Nintendo store, where they can experience "Legend of Zelda" Wii U for themselves.
However, those who can't score a wristband or ticket can still take part in the Nintendo New York event as the store will have live screenings and demonstrations. There will also be competitions and trivia questions for fans and plenty of prizes are expected, per Engadget.

IGN reports that "Legend of Zelda" Wii U will be released in 2017, instead of its original 2016 release. The reason for the delay is so that the developers can improve on the game. Many speculate that the gaming company has strategically planned this to coincide with the release of the new game console, Nintendo NX, in March 2017.
The Nintendo NX will not be presented at the E3 event or the New York event. The company is solely concentrating on marketing "Legend of Zelda" Wii U for the next few months.
