"Harry Potter" fans are now excited to see the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" in a theater play and book edition. In fact, J.K. Rowling reveals that the official eighth installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise will surely make its fans cry.
According to MTV, a "Harry Potter" fan asked J.K. Rowling on Twitter if "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will be a tearjerker like its previous installments. "If it doesn't, we'll be checking your vital signs," the "Casual Vacancy" author responded.
It has been known "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will continue the story of Harry Potter 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts took place. The story will revolve to his son Albus Severus Potter as he's going to face a family legacy that he never dreamed of.
Telegraph reported the details of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" remained under wraps until its release on July 31, which is Harry Potter's birthday. However, the plot of the story was said to see Harry Potter having a hard time as a common employee in Ministry of Magic and a husband to Ginny Weasley with three kids.
"As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places," "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" storyline read. Meanwhile, OsunDefender noted that another "Harry Potter" enthusiast questioned why J.K. Rowling loved to make "Harry Potter" fans cry.
"I'm a writer. If you're not feeling, I'm not doing it right," J.K. Rowling explained in another tweet. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" theater play will start to make its fans cry in London's West End on July 30.
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will star Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" book version, on the other hand will be published on July 31.
