'Person Of Interest' Spoiler: 'Emotional' Season Finale Hinted In Finch's 'Terrible' Plan Vs Samaritan; Will He Die?

It's the penultimate episode of "Person of Interest" on Tuesday, June 14 at CBS and ".exe" will see through Finch's plan against the Samaritan. However, things might not go the way Finch expects it and the producers have hinted the finale will be an emotional one. Will Finch die in the end?

Reese, Shaw and Fusco, who were looking for Finch in last week's episode, will finally get to him in the Tuesday offering of "Person of Interest." As viewers already know based off the previous episode, Finch infiltrated a maximum security facility managed by the government. The group will once again work together to undo Samaritan while they are there.

But with one more episode left, it looks like this week could lead to more trouble for the main characters. Michael Emerson, who plays the lead Harold Finch on "Person of Interest," is first to admit that his character's solution against the Samaritan is actually a "terrible" plan. "When no other solution is available, even the roughest-looking idea, you may have to go with it," said Emerson via TV Guide. Is Finch on a suicide mission to ensure that the Samaritan is destroyed?

"Person of Interest" producers told a panel at the ATX conference over the weekend that the "body count is the same" by the end of the series, per Deadline. This is good news for those who don't want to see Finch, or even Reese, Shaw and Fusco dead. But the producers also hinted that the finale will be the "most emotional" episode they will present. It was an idea that they had been hatching for some time now.

Producers also said in an interview with IGN that fans of "Person of Interest" are going to get an ending that will be satisfying and hopefully not leave the feeling that viewers were robbed of a good story. There are some hints about the potential of this show moving forward after the finale episode. Will "Person of Interest" lead to a spinoff?
