Dads looking to get their hands on a Yeezy Boost for themselves or their teenage son could be in for a real treat. The popular but rather expensive footwear, which rap artist Kanye West collaborates with the clothing and apparel giant, is going to be a lot more accessible this time around.
Adidas is reportedly planning on releasing a budget Yeezy Boost 750, which should make daddies' wallets sigh in relief. The sneakers are also going to be featured in the footwear selection in the NBA 2K17 video game. It will soon be also possible for many dads and their sons to wear a pair of Yeezy, albeit virtually.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 On A Budget: Tubular Invader
High Snobiety reports that Adidas is going to release its newest Tubular Invader for the Originals line and it's supposed to look a lot like the Yeezy Boost 750. It will be designed with that familiar strap the 750 footwear line is known for and it will have a similar beige suede material.
The Tubular Invader will also have the same perforated feature around the toe area of the shoes, as well as vertical indents on the sides, just like the Yeezy Boost 750. The sole will be ridged, to follow its inspired design, and it will be highlighted in red. Check out its photo below:
This budget Yeezy Boost 750 is actually priced a lot less than the original, which usually goes for $350 a pair. The Tubular Invader only costs $147 and will be ready for shipping July 17. Some retailers are already taking pre-orders. Hopefully, there's enough stocks to go around as Yeezy and Yeezy-inspired shoes usually sell fast.
Adidas Yeezy Boost In NBA 2K17
Meanwhile, the upcoming release of NBA 2K17 will provide gamers with a more fashionable and trendy footwear option. Expected in stores by September, NBA 2K17 will have players wearing Yeezy Boost at the basketball court, per The Stashed.
Now, while this is only a video game version of the sneakers, it's nonetheless making sneakerheads eager and excited. It's still unclear what model of Yeezy Boost are in the game, but the growing demand for the inclusion of signature sneakers is giving the NBA 2K games a boost.
