People are not only looking forward to watching Disney's live action take on "Beauty and the Beast" because it is a classic and well-loved fairy tale. Movie-goers are also eager to see and hear Emma Watson sing as Belle. The actress admits that the singing had been the most nerve-wracking part of filming. But can she do it and is she any good?

Emma Watson said that snagging the role of Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" got her really excited, but her nervousness about singing in the film almost got the best of her. She admitted she's been out of practice. The last time she sang in productions was when she did it in plays as a child. "I just hadn't done it in such a long time," said Emma Watson, per Yahoo.

Still, the professional that she is, she described the experience as a lot like "learning to ride a bike again." Though Disney has yet to give viewers a glimpse to Emma Watson singing as Belle in "Beauty and the Beast," the actress has in fact sung in one of her movies before.

Back in 2014, Emma Watson starred in the epic film "Noah" with Russell Crowe and there was a scene where she had to sing a lullaby to her baby. Watch the video below and hear her sing beginning at the 0:50 mark.

Luke Evans, who plays Gaston in "Beauty and the Beast," remarked that some of the singing in the film had been pre-recorded along with the live singing, so that the production could choose what to include in the final cut, per Collider. However, he can attest that Emma Watson has a "great singing voice." per MTV News.

Emma Watson did have singing lessons when she learned she will be playing Belle in "Beauty and the Beast." She revealed this to her followers on her Facebook page in 2015.

She also said that the role of Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" is rather unexpected, especially with her having to sing since she has not yet done this for a full feature. "I think people will be interested to see me do something very different like that," she told Telegraph.

"Beauty and the Beast" will hit theaters March 2017. The movie also stars Dan Stevens, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, Sir Ian McKellen and Kevin Kline.
